The role is an exciting opportunity to be a part of AFP's fast-growing fact-checking network, which has seen it take a leading role in the global fight against disinformation.
The successful applicant will be required to edit fact check reports in English and Korean.
The position requires a precise, detail-oriented editor who can navigate online disinformation, whether that be on major social media platforms such as Facebook, discussion boards or encrypted chat apps. As such, the role requires experience of digital verification techniques and tools.

While the editor will specialise in Korean-language fact-checking, they may also be required to edit and publish fact checks from around the region and assist with other key digital verification tasks, from sourcing breaking news UGC to writing wire stories about disinformation.
Candidates must have excellent English and be fluent in Korean. The position can be based in Seoul or Hong Kong.
