Leading global news agency AFP has released master certificates for its online training platform on tackling misinformation, announced at GlobalFact 11 fact-checking conference in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on June 26.

AFP Social Stories, a dynamic format that packages the best of the Agency’s photos and videos for social media, is now even better. In addition to the French and English formats already available, AFP is now offering a ‘raw’ format enabling clients to customise content in their own language and with their own brand identity.

The Dutch University INholland launched on May 13, 2024, fabricated, an interactive educational initiative designed by its Sustainable Media Lab, in partnership with AFP.

The Spéos International Photography School and Agence France-Presse are pleased to announce their partnership to create a unique training program in photojournalism, starting in September 2024. This course, taught in English, will welcome around 15 students. It runs from mid-September 2024 to the end of June 2025.

A unique course in photojournalism

From June 6th to June 9th, more than 400 million European citizens will elect a new five-year parliament. Agence France-Presse detected an attack on its IT systems on Friday, affecting part of its delivery service to clients. It is not yet known who carried out this attack or why.

AFP's technical teams are working on the incident with the support of the French National Agency for IT Systems Security (ANSSI). The relevant authorities in France have been notified.
