AFP photojournalist Bülent Kiliç received first and third prizes in the category Spot News Single at the annual World Press Photo Awards.
Amongst the 148 photos received for this new edition of the Prix Varenne, the Jury rewarded, Wednesday February 17, 2021, the work of two AFP photographers: Kenzo Tribouillard, National Press Award and Leo Malafaia, International Award.
AFP journalist Clément Melki has been awarded the Young Journalist Prize in the National Daily Press category of the Prix Varenne for his report entitled "God, Water and Us: When Migrants Cross the Channel".
