Spain equalled September heat record Thursday at 45.7C: weather agency
Spain registered its joint-highest temperature for September on record with 45.7C measured in the southwestern municipality of El Granado as exceptional heat hits the country, weather agency AEMET said on Friday.
Thursday's reading equalled the 45.7C recorded in the municipality of Montoro in 2016, also located in the southern region of Andalusia, AEMET said on social media.
