كرر دونالد ترامب الاثنين "انفتاحه" على التعامل مع إيران بهدف وضع حد للحرب التي شنتها الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل في شباط/فبراير على الجمهورية الإسلامية.
وكتب الرئيس الاميركي على منصته تروث سوشال أن "الأمة الايرانية الفاشلة تريد التوصل الى اتفاق، سريعا وبإلحاح. وسأقرر ما إذا كانت الولايات المتحدة ستختار الانخراط في ذلك أم لا، وهو أمر نبدي انفتاحا حياله".
