أفادت الأمم المتحدة السبت بأن ما لا يقل عن 76 ألف شخص نزحوا في اليمن منذ تموز/يوليو، مشيرة الى أن وتيرة النزوح تسارعت مع احتدام القتال بين الحوثيين والقوات الحكومية.
وحذّرت المنظمة الدولية للهجرة في بيان من "أزمة نزوح تتفاقم بوتيرة سريعة في اليمن وتتطوّر ساعة بساعة"، مضيفة أن "ما لا يقلّ عن 76 ألف شخص فروا من منازلهم منذ تموز/يوليو". وأوضحت أن ربع هؤلاء نزحوا خلال الأسبوع المنصرم، مع شنّ الحوثيين هجوما واسعا سيطروا خلاله على كامل الساحل الغربي لليمن ومنطقة مضيق باب المندب.
