دعت دول مجموعة بريكس، وبينها روسيا والصين والهند وإيران والإمارات والسعودية ومصر، في بيان مشترك على هامش قمّتها في نيودلهي السبت، إلى "أقصى درجات ضبط النفس" في الحرب بالشرق الأوسط.
وجاء في البيان "نعرب عن بالغ القلق إزاء التصاعد المتواصل للتوتّرات في الشرق الأوسط/غرب آسيا. وإذ نذكّر بمواقفنا الوطنية المحدّدة، ندعو إلى ممارسة أقصى درجات ضبط النفس، فضلا عن تجنّب الأعمال التي من شأنها أن تفاقم الوضع".
