Le président iranien Massoud Pezeshkian est arrivé vendredi dans la capitale indienne New Delhi pour participer ce weekend au sommet du forum international des Brics, en pleine reprise des hostilités entre son pays et les Etats-Unis, selon les images diffusées par les télévisions indiennes.
M. Pezeshkian, dont c'est le premier séjour officiel en Inde, doit être reçu en fin d'après-midi par le Premier ministre Narendra Modi pour un entretien bilatéral, selon la diplomatie indienne.
