استكمل المقاتلون الحوثيون اليمنيون سيطرتهم على منطقة باب المندب بعد انتشارهم في جزيرة ميون الاستراتيجية الواقعة في وسط المضيق، بحسب ما أفاد مسؤول حكومي محلي وشهود عيان وكالة فرانس برس.
وقال المسؤول الحكومي إن "قوارب على متنها مسلحين حوثيين وصلت الى جزيرة ميون بعد انسحاب القوات الحكومية منها بالأمس". وقال شهود إن المسلحين الحوثيين "ينتشرون في شاطئ باب المندب ولديهم مركبات عسكرية يتجولون فيها".
