قال وزير الخارجية ماركو روبيو إن الولايات المتحدة ستواصل استهداف ناقلات إيرانية بضربات انتقامية الثلاثاء، فيما أفادت القيادة المركزية الأميركية بأنها دمرت خمس سفن إيرانية.
وقال لصحافيين خلال زيارة لكولومبيا "تواصل إيران محاولاتها لضرب السفن الأميركية، وفي كل مرة تقدم فيها على ذلك أو تحاول القيام به، ستخسر ناقلات، وأعتقد أنكم سترون ذلك مجددا اليوم".
