قال مكتب رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتانياهو الثلاثاء إنه لم يتلق أي تحذير من الرئيس الإماراتي الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان عن تخطيط حركة حماس لشنّ هجوم السابع من تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2023، وذلك عقب تقرير لصحيفة "هآرتس" في هذا الشأن.
وجاء في بيان صادر عن مكتب نتانياهو "إن التقارير الصحافية خاطئة. لم تُوجَّه أي تحذيرات إلى رئيس الوزراء من دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة قبل السابع من تشرين الأول/أكتوبر"، مع إشارته إلى أنه من الممكن أن يكون البلدان تبادلا رسائل عبر قنوات استخبارية.
