غادر الموفدان الأميركيان ستيف ويتكوف وجاريد كوشنر كييف الأحد بعد محادثات مع الرئيس فولوديمير زيلينسكي كان الهدف منها مناقشة سبل إنهاء الحرب مع روسيا، بحسب ما أفادت شركة سكك الحديد الأوكرانية ليل الأحد إلى الإثنين.
وأعلنت الشركة "انطلق القطار الخاص لستيف ويتكوف وجاريد كوشنر. وشكرناهما على زيارتهما وقدّمنا لهما أطيب التمنّيات"، من دون توضيح وجهة القطار علما أن المبعوثين كانا قد وصلا الأحد عبر بولندا.
