طرح الرئيس الأوكراني فولوديمير زيلينسكي وقف إطلاق النار مع روسيا أثناء الزيارة المرتقبة لمبعوثي الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، ستيف ويتكوف وجاريد كوشنر، الى كييف وموسكو.
وقال زيلينسكي "لن نشنّ ضربات جوية من جانبنا، وعلى روسيا أن تحترم وقف إطلاق النار بشكل متبادل، من دون أن تشنّ ضرباتها الجوية، للمدة المطلوبة من أجل عقد هذه المباحثات".
وكان مسؤول أوكراني أفاد وكالة فرانس برس الجمعة بأن ويتكوف وكوشنر سيزوران كييف للمرة الأولى الأحد، وذلك في إطار الجهود الدبلوماسية لإنهاء الحرب.
