قال رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتانياهو الخميس إن إسقاط الجمهورية الإسلامية في إيران هو "في المتناول"، معتبرا أنها باتت أضعف من أي وقت مضى في ظل الحرب التي بدأتها الولايات المتحدة والدولة العبرية عليها مطلع السنة الجارية.
وأعرب نتانياهو خلال فعالية مع قادة عسكريين "عن قناعتي بأننا نستطيع إزالة هذا التهديد مرة واحدة وإلى الأبد، أي إسقاط هذا النظام. هذه هي المهمة المركزية التي لا تزال تنتظرنا، لكنها قريبة. ليست مستحيلة. هي في المتناول".
