May 12, Mexico City - A report about women who survived attempted femicide has won the Breach-Valdez Prize, which honours human rights and freedom of the press.

AFP is proud to participate in this new initiative led by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

The agreement will benefit all journalists in the agency's worldwide network.
