AFP to take part in the Deauville Sport Images Festival

Running from 21 June to 21 September 2025, the Deauville Sport Images Festival offers a fresh perspective on the values of sport through photography. The work of AFP photographers will be showcased in a dedicated exhibition, A World of Sports, alongside three collective displays.

In total, the Festival will feature 12 free-to-access exhibitions across the town, and will open with a major evening event — The Night of Sport — on 21 June at 7pm at the Deauville International Centre.

Opening Night: “The Night of Sport”

This free, ticketed event will offer an immersive experience into the eyes of those who live and capture sport, through screenings and first-hand accounts. An awards ceremony will also take place on the night, honouring photographers who contribute to promoting the values of sport.

Charity Auction

During The Night of Sport, a special charity auction of fine art and limited-edition sports prints will be launched. Around a hundred lots, both archival and contemporary, will be on offer — including images from Sports Illustrated, Paris Match, AFP, L’Équipe, and iconic photographers such as Neil Leifer. The auction will run online via Bonhams from 21 June to 10 July 2025.
