Seven AFP photojournalists win awards at the 74th Pictures Of the Year international (POYi).
In partnership with the Collège de France, France Culture, and AFP, the Arab World Institute (Institut du Monde Arabe) is launching a new event at which current affairs will be discussed: Debates on Current Affairs in the Arab World.
Syrian photographer Ameer Alhalbi has received second prize in the Days Japan international photojournalism awards 2017.
The 2017 World Press Photo jury awarded prizes to three AFP photo journalists.
