Yemen govt forces announce offensive on Houthi-held capital Sanaa
Forces of Yemen's internationally recognised government announced on Monday that they have launched an offensive on the capital Sanaa, which the Iran-backed Houthis have controlled for more than a decade in the country's civil war.
"Our armed forces have launched a strategic offensive in Sanaa," spokesman Majid al-Nazili wrote on X.
