Turkey has revoked the license of Bank Mellat, one of Iran's largest private banks, the official gazette said early on Saturday.
The reason for the move was not given but it came two weeks after Washington slapped sanctions on a Turkish bank over alleged ties to Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
