The Asia Pacific region is looking for a photo editor to be part of a dynamic team in New Delhi which handles South Asia’s photo production.
New Delhi has a photo desk which handles the work of our photo network across India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, the Maldives and Bhutan.
Sport, along with strengthening the video offering, is a strategic editorial priority for AFP. With the 2016 Summer Olympics approaching and the Ryder Cup to be held in France in 2018, AFP and the French Golf Federation have formed a partnership to offer more content.
ROLE
AFP is looking for a video journalist to be part of a dynamic team in New Delhi that handles South Asia’s video production across India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, and Bhutan (The Region). This exciting post involves shooting and editing hard news and features in the Region.
The video journalist is core to our coverage. The role is extremely varied, including breaking news and feature pieces.
THE JOB
The Africa region seeks an experienced video journalist for a full-time managerial position based in London
You will oversee broadcast production from Africa, manage the workload of a busy desk and support the regional video editor-in-chief in editorial and logistical planning. You will work in coordination with and under the responsibility of the AFPTV editor-in-chief for Africa in Paris and the Head of AFPTV output for Europe and Africa, based in London.
THE JOB
AFP is seeking an English-language journalist with strong digital investigation skills to join its Lagos bureau as part of the international fact-checking team
You will cover online misinformation in Nigeria and the wider region as well as support factcheckers in other bureaus in Africa.
