بحث وزير الخارجية الصيني وانغ يي ونظيره الأميركي ماركو روبيو الوضع في الشرق الأوسط، بحسب ما أفاد الاعلام الرسمي في بكين، وذلك في اتصال هاتفي أجرياه الخميس يسبق قمة مرتقبة بين الرئيسين شي جينبينغ ودونالد ترامب في واشنطن الأسبوع المقبل.
إلى ذلك، نقلت وكالة أنباء الصين الجديدة (شينخوا) عن وانغ قوله لروبيو إن على بكين وواشنطن "الاستعداد للمرحلة التالية من التبادلات رفيعة المستوى بروح المساواة والاحترام المتبادل والمنفعة المتبادلة".
