أعلن رئيس الوزراء السويدي أولف كريسترسون استقالته الخميس بعد خسارته في الانتخابات البرلمانية أمام الاشتراكية الديموقراطية ماغدالينا أندرسون.
وكتب في رسالة نُشرت عبر حسابه على منصة اكس "بات يتعيّن على رئيس البرلمان اتخاذ الخطوات اللازمة لتشكيل حكومة جديدة. ولضمان بدء هذا العمل بدون تأخير، أطلب بموجب هذه الرسالة إعفائي من مهامي كرئيس للوزراء".
