طالب الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الأربعاء بخفض معدلات الفائدة في الولايات المتحدة بشكل سريع، بعيد إعلان الاحتياطي الفدرالي رفعها بمقدار ربع نقطة مئوية بسبب التضخم، وذلك للمرة الأولى منذ ثلاثة أعوام.
وكتب ترامب عبر منصته تروث سوشال "نحن +نحمل+ (على كتفينا) كل دول العالم تقريبا، وهذا لا يمكن أن يستمر. خفضوا معدلات الفوائد في الولايات المتحدة، (وقوموا بذلك) سريعا!".
