أفادت السلطات الإيرانية بمقتل شخص في ضربة استهدفت سفينة تجارية إيرانية الأحد في مضيق هرمز، في ظل مواجهات بين إيران والولايات المتحدة حول هذا الممر الاستراتيجي.
ونقل التلفزيون الرسمي ووكالة تسنيم للأنباء عن محافظ جزيرة قشم حسين أميرتيموري قوله الأحد إن "سفينة تجارية إيرانية تعرضت للاستهداف حوالي الساعة الخامسة من صباح اليوم (01,30 ت غ)، في نطاق جزيرة هنجام وساحل شيبدراز في جزيرة قشم". وأضاف "إثر هذا الحادث، استُشهد شخص واحد وأُصيب ثلاثة آخرون".
وأفيد عن انفجارات عدة خلال الليل في محيط قشم، وهي أكبر جزيرة في مضيق هرمز.
