ICC unseals new arrest warrants for Taliban education ministers
The International Criminal Court Monday unsealed two new arrest warrants for Afghan education ministers accused of "gender-based persecution" under the country's Taliban regime.
The warrants for Habibullah Agha, minister of education, and Neda Mohammad Nadeem, minister of higher education, had been issued under seal in September 2025, shortly after warrants were issued for Supreme Taliban Leader Haibatullah Akhundzada and Supreme Court President Abdul Hakim Haqqani.
