Anti-corruption prosecutors in Albania issued an arrest warrant for the state intelligence chief Vlora Hyseni on Tuesday, in a graft probe also involving a senior police figure.
The Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organised Crime said in a statement that it had ordered the suspension of the State Intelligence Service director Hyseni and that she be placed under house arrest on suspicion of leaking confidential information.
