AFP Live reports now available on Scribblelive

Under a new partnership agreement with Scribblelive, AFP’s Live Reports will now be available on this real-time content platform.

AFP’s Live Reports offer real-time coverage in text, photo, video, graphics and tweets, plus contributions from AFP journalists on the ground. AFP subscribers will be able to offer their readers a richer and more personalised live coverage of events by using the platform to post AFP’s Live Reports along with their own content and contributions from social networks.

With a network present in 150 countries, AFP offers clients real-time coverage of major news, sports and cultural events. The Agency has produced more than 200 live coverages in 2015 including the November 13 attacks in Paris, the aftermath of the Germanwings crash in France, the meeting between President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the draw for the Euro 2016 football finals and the Academy Awards ceremony.

AFP has opened an @afp_livereports Twitter account that shows the schedule of live reports and their opening and closing times.

“Live Reports fit perfectly into AFP’s mission to produce reliable information as quickly as possible,” said Emmanuel Hoog, the Agency’s chairman and CEO. “AFP is a pioneer of real-time coverage and is developing and strengthening its live news coverage. By partnering with ScribbleLive the Agency is making its content available on this global market leader’s platform.”

“ScribbeLive is proud to be associated with prestigious news agencies like AFP and to carry their coverage of front page news,” said ScribbleLive CEO Vincent Mifsud. “Our patented software permits companies to create and distribute their content efficiently in a constantly evolving media environment.”

AFP’s live reports are available in three languages – FrenchEnglish and Spanish – and can be consulted free of charge on the platform until the end of January 2016.
