AFP joins forces with GADMO to combat disinformation ahead of the German elections
With the German parliamentary elections scheduled for 23 February, the campaigning, which began in early 2025, has already been marked by widespread misinformation on social networks. There have also been direct attempts at foreign interference, potentially undermining voter confidence.
Special editions of GADMO Newsletter
To counter disinformation around the elections, the German-Austrian digital observatory (GADMO) has launched a special edition of its newsletter.
Every week, it will offer a selection of fact checks done by partners dpa, CORRECTIV, AFP and APA, published as part of this project led by the TU Dortmund university and co-financed by the European union.
