Two AFP photographers have been awarded at NPPA Annual Awards for their pictures in the categories "Politics", "Politics Story" and "Breaking News Story".
MIT Enterprise Forum (MITEF) Pan Arab will be holding the final award ceremony and conference for the 12th edition of ‘Arab Startup Competition’ on March 29 in Beirut Lebanon. The competition brings 67 teams from the Arab world to compete in three main tracks, for a grand sum prize of USD 160,000.

Spanish photographer José Manuel López has won prizes in three news categories in the Px3 Paris photo awards* for his coverage of the massacre of young men in the Syrian civil war. His shocking images of bodies pulled out of the Quweig river in Aleppo earned him a gold medal in the category “Press-General News”, a silver medal in “Press-War” and third place in the overall “Px3 Paris photography prize”.
