AFP Partners with repubHub® to Syndicate News Articles

iCopyright Inc., provider of the repubHub® content licensing portal, and Agence France-Presse (AFP), the award-winning international news service, have partnered to syndicate AFP’s news content on an article-by-article basis, making AFP’s world-class journalism and photos available to websites that might not otherwise have such access.  Articles can be licensed as embeds with advertising inserted or ad-free for a modest fee. The repubHub content syndication portal also offers websites the option to deploy a free headline widget of trending AFP content that updates automatically with fresh content.

“We know there are many website editors who want access to the fast, accurate, and in-depth coverage AFP provides from its worldwide bureaus,” said Paul Sherno, North American Director of Digital Business Development. “But many of these sites cannot accommodate, and may not need, the fire hose of content we pump out each day, nor have the editorial team in place to manage the flow. RepubHub helps us distribute our news to this vast market on a one-off basis in a powerful new way.”

“We’re delighted that AFP has embraced repubHub’s content licensing portal as a vehicle to syndicate its content more widely,” said Andrew Elston, iCopyright CEO. “There are thousands of websites that are hungry for breaking news that can enhance their own original reporting. Our editorial clients have been clamoring for this type of coverage and have specifically requested that we bring AFP into the repubHub network.”
