NEW BUSINESS SALES EXECUTIVE

The North America AFP sales team is seeking an autonomous, highly motivated, organized, seasoned sales executive to help lead the aggressive sales efforts of our B2B sales team. If you are excited about taking on new challenges and have the ability to not only deliver an influential sales pitch, but are able to negotiate and close six figure deals, this job is for you.
PRIMARY GOALS OF THE ROLE:
Grow and secure new business within assigned sectors/region(s) for both AFP and AFP Services.
Identify and pursue new sectors and/or channels to increase overall revenue for the department.
Meet assigned KPI’s by actively prospecting (cold calls, live visits, best practices etc.)
Attend regional conferences and networking events to increase visibility and further grow pipeline.
Solid understanding of our platforms, sales processes and product diversitication
Generating new business and managing a complex sales cycle, from self-generation efforts to closing deals.
Promoting new content packages via influential sales pitch and marketing campaigns.
Working closely with other departments including Marketing, Technology and Legal to finalize deals.
Ability to analyze both implied and explicit needs of prospects to offer the most optimal solutions and packages
Ensure a consistent deal pipeline
Experience in developing “go to market” strategies and identifying key prospects and titles.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree required.
Minimum experience of 5 years B2B sales experience
Minimum experience of 3 years within the Media space preferably selling Video services
Solid experience in working with a CRM as well as MS Office
Passion about the transforming media and technology landscape
Proficiency in reading and writing in French a plus.
Ability to travel occasionally, 10-20%.
Track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales goals a must.
