WELCOME TO AFP'S LIVE REPORT on the 2012 US Open men's final between Novak Djokovic, the defending champion and world number two from Serbia, and third seed Andy Murray, who is looking to become Britain’s first men’s Grand Slam champion since Fred Perry in 1936.

The match is due to start at Arthur Ashe Stadium at about 4:15 pm EDT (2015 GMT).

Severe weather has once again wreaked havoc on the match schedule at Flushing Meadows – this is the fifth consecutive Monday final for the men at the US Open.
