Jennifer Suhr of the United States won the women's Olympic pole vault on Monday with a best height of 4.75m while two-time champion Yelena Isinbayeva of Russia could only take bronze.

Cuba's Yarisley Silva claimed silver with 4.75m by virtue of countback, while Isinbayeva failed to clear any height above 4.70m.
