Spanish leader says won't accept bailout specifying cuts

MADRID (AFP)

Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said Monday he will not accept a bailout that tells him where to cut spending, and he ruled out cutting pensions.

"I could not accept that they tell us which are the concrete policies in which we have to cut or not cut," he said in a public television interview. "If there is one area I won't touch it is pensions."
